Since formation in January the Men's Action Committee. (MAC) has proven itself to be a. hard working group. Within a month it has sent out a flyer. detailing activities, taken a tour of the Home and Flower Show, spent Sunday afternoon bowling, and capped that specific evening off with. a rousing meal at. licck's. Calling itself a social and service committee of the GEAR Foundation MAC plans a wide variety of events this year.

Pot luck dinners are held in Youngstown/Warren and Kent each month as a means of allowing gay men to gather in a social atmosphere that is an alternative to the bars and other spots.
"Our idea has been to provide gay men with a
relaxed atmosphere in which they can interact with other people and not the intense atmosphere that is. found in gay bars and other locations" said Rick of the Kent

The Kent dinners are held the first Saturday of cach month at 6 p.m. in a private home.. More than 40 men attended one of the events and they come from Canton Akron Warren Wooster etc. . The Youngstown/Warren potluck is held the 3rd Saturday of each month at 6 p.m. homes in the Mahoning Valley. Persons interested in either potluck can call 673-7642 in Kentor 743-3833 in Youngstown and 872-1412 in Trumbull County. The
